In a heart-wrenching account, Shalini Unnikrishnan, a woman who converted to Islam, has shared her story of the struggles she faced while trying to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. Unfortunately, her aspirations were cut short when she was abducted from her home and forced into joining extremist groups.
Over time, she was brainwashed and eventually coerced into joining ISIS, which led to her imprisonment in Afghanistan. Her experience highlights the dangers and devastating consequences of radicalization and the impact it can have on the lives of individuals and their families.
In this part of the story, Nimah reveals the horrifying truth that many girls in Kerala convert to a different religion each year, and a significant number of them go missing without a trace. Despite Nimah's claims, the police do not file a First Information Report (FIR) due to a lack of legal evidence. Meanwhile, the saree-clad girls are being transported to trafficking camps in Afghanistan, a fact that Shalini has mapped out well.
She knows that if she wants to escape, it must be from this place. Taking a risk, Shalini escapes with two other girls, but unfortunately, the other two are killed. However, the guy manages to escape unscathed. Nonetheless, his safety is short-lived as he is later caught by soldiers in Afghanistan. Since then, Shalini has been recounting the story of the saree as a message to officers. This ending highlights the harsh realities of human trafficking, as well as the importance of being aware of these issues and taking action to prevent them.
